Each system is powered by the world-leading
Digital Instruments NanoScope controller and is available
with a choice of different scanning probe microscope (SPM)
platforms, including the high-resolution Digital Instruments
MultiMode. Each option also comes complete with a bipotentiostat/galvanostat,
one or more liquid cells, as well as liquid and electrode
attachments.
BioScope SZ
BioScope SZ offers full atomic force microscopy
on a high-power inverted optical microscope. Combining nondestructive
scanning with familiar sample preparation, mounting, and
optical capabilities. The BioScope SZ integrates the Hybrid
XYZ Scanner providing unmatched high resolution imaging
on the nanometer (lateral) and angstrom (vertical) scales
- comparable to electron microscopy (EM), and two orders
of magnitude better than standard optical microscope.
EnviroScope
EnviroScope combines modular environmental
controls, a sealed hermetic sample chamber, and a wide range
of imaging modes to bring superior application flexibility
to research and industrial facilities. With high vacuum,
gas, and liquid purge and exchange, as well as heating,
the system"s environmental chamber allows the
observation of sample reactions to a variety of complex
environmental changes. The scanner, based on the industry-standard
Dimension AFM head, includes a piezoelectric tube scanner,
a laser, and a quadrature
optical detector to deliver proven scanning probe performance and reliability."
NanoMan 2
NanoMan II incorporates the new Hybrid XYZ
Scanner making it the pre-eminent system for high resolution
imaging, high definition nanolithography and direct nanoscale
manipulation. The Hybrid XYZ scanner provides 6 times lower
Z sensor noise, precise X/Y control for manipulation of
molecules and the highly accurate 3-axis closed-loop control
for "pulling" techniques. The combination of the proven
Dimension platform and the addition of the new Hybrid XYZ
scanner significantly extends the capabilities of the NanoMan
II making it the most advanced SPM system commercially available.
